The past of imperial Milan has left its prints in the district of Porta Ticinese, where you can admire vestiges of Roman heritage. Nestled between the south of Duomo and Navigli, you can discover the old ruins and historic museums, or simply stroll around the colored building of the pedestrian zone by the Columns of San Lorenzo. The area has lost going on – there are tons of bars, nice restaurants, and designer shops, and it attracts a lot of young Milanese in the evening.
