Located in a quiet area, just 5 km from the historic centre of Acireale and a few minutes' walk from the sea, it is the perfect base for exploring Catania, Taormina, Mount Etna and the wonders of the east coast of Sicily. The space La Casa del Sole "between Etna and the sea" is located in the Mare di Acireale between Stazzo and Pozzillo, two picturesque seaside villages. It is surrounded by citrus and prickly pear gardens, spacious and bright with a beautiful view of Mount ETNA, close to supermarkets, bars, tobacconists and restaurants/pizzerias, and 300 metres from the typical rocky beaches of "Le Calette di Stazzo", made of ancient lava stone. From June to September, public and private wooden platforms are installed, equipped with showers. The sea is crystal clear, ideal for snorkelling, diving and underwater fishing. The sandy beaches are about 10 km from the apartment. The Giarre and Acireale motorway exits, which provide access to the main tourist destinations, are between 8 and 10 km from the apartment. The apartment is located in a quiet area, surrounded by greenery, with a breathtaking view for those who love nature and its surroundings. It consists of two air-conditioned bedrooms, with two double beds and a single bed, a large air-conditioned living room with two comfortable sofas and a single bed in a private area, a table and four comfortable seats. Smart TV, satellite channels, free high-speed Internet, equipped kitchen, bathroom, laundry room. Spacious balcony with a panoramic view of Mount Etna. Relax in our outdoor lounge surrounded by plants and flowers, a perfect spot for quiet breakfasts or aperitifs at sunset. Free parking inside the residence in a large private garage for the exclusive use of guests. A car is recommended. We will be happy to welcome you to our home. We will be there to hand over the keys and will be available throughout your stay. We will suggest all the activities that our area offers, and we will provide a complete online guide to all the most beautiful places to see, as well as bars, restaurants and supermarkets with directions. Maps and brochures in various languages are available at the property. At check-in, an identification document must be provided for each guest (including children and infants) for registration at the Catania police headquarters. The tourist tax (which you did not pay when booking on the site and which must be paid to the municipality of Acireale) will be paid directly in cash at the Casa del Sole at the time of check-in and is €2.00 per person per day for the first 5 days. Children/young people under 16 years of age do not pay the tourist tax. There are bars, restaurants, a fishmonger, a greengrocer, a tobacconist, a butcher and a bakery nearby. All the places of interest to visit are located a few kilometres from the property: Taormina, Mount Etna, the Alcantara Gorges, Aci Trezza, Aci Castello and Catania are within a 30 km radius and can be reached by public or private transport. It is possible to arrange excursions and visits to Mount Etna and to all the cities of SICILY. The entire house and garage are for the exclusive use of booked and registered guests only. Entry is strictly forbidden to persons who have not booked, are not registered and are not authorised. OFFENDERS will be reported to the police authorities and will be immediately expelled from Casa del Sole. Other things to note At check-in, the tourist tax for the municipality of Acireale must be paid in cash, which is €2.00 per person per day for the first 5 days.
