The Library is located in the heart of the bohemian area of El Born. It's steps away from the monumental Arc de Triomf, which also gives name to the nearest metro and train stations, connecting the area with the rest of the city in minutes. El Parc de la Ciutadella, Barcelona's main park, is also right next to the apartment. The Gothic Quarter and the seafront area of La Barceloneta is also walking distance from it. The Space Upon entering into this 540 sq. ft. / 50 sq. m apartment, you'll be met by a long corridor with the living room at the end. The bathroom with its rainfall shower is the first room we will find along the corridor. Right next to it, the fully equipped kitchen with all appliances you might need during your stay, including a dishwasher, a washer-dryer machine, a Nespresso coffee machine and a countertop oven amongst others. The bedroom fits a queen-size bed with an ample closet. The living room, exterior with a wonderful balcony overlooking the lively street, has a comfortable couch (can be converted into sofabed), Smart TV and the dining area surrounded by the colorful library. Furthermore the living room comes with a music and projector system, and air conditioning. IMPORTANT: This unit can only be rented for a minimum of 31 nights and a maximum of 11 months. Neighborhood El Born has wonderful cafés, restaurants and local designer boutiques. Ornate stained glass is on show at the Santa Maria del Mar Basilica, while the renowned Picasso Museum shows many of the artist's masterpieces. Featuring an archaeological site, the El Born Cultural and Memorial Center is an event space in an old market building. Arc de Triomf, the Gothic Quarter and Ciutadella Park are also a short walk from the unit. Home Truths: - The home is located in a very lively area of Barcelona but the bedroom faces the interior side of the building, providing a calm and quite environment during night hours. - The air conditioning (hot/cold) is only located in the living room, but the guests will find an electric stove and a fan for the bedroom if needed. - The home has been fully renovated but it is located on the third floor of an ancient building only accessible by a narrow stairway.
